Vocational School Lists Fall Courses

CREST HAVEN - Cape May County Vocational Schools Adult Evening School Program will begin Tuesday, Sept. 13. Courses are being offered at the Career Center and Vo-Tech Center as well as the Middle Schools. In addition to courses for career change and/or upgrading trade skills and leisure time activities, course preparation leading to a GED diploma is offered. Adult basic education ’(ABE) and general education development (GED) that could lead to a high school equivalent diploma is provided at most of the sites. Arrangements may also be made for individual GED preparation during the day. Further information can be gained by calling the evening school supervisor at 465-2161. $250,000 for Weather Aid TRENTON 1- A Weatherization Assistance Program Grant in the amount of $250,000 has been awarded to the Atlantic Human Resources, Inc. by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs. The grant will enable Atlantic Human Resources, Inc. to continue to weatherize homes in Atlantic and Cape May Counties. The program’s purpose is to aid those least able to meet high energy costs and to conserve needed energy.
