DR. ALVIN L. BAKER AND FAMILY

Installs New Pastor Sun

NORTH WILDWOOD - “Confidence of a Spirit Filled Man" is the title of Dr. Alvin L. Raker's message during the 10:45 a m. worship service at Central Bible Church, located at 18th and Centra] Avenues. Dr. Baker will be continuing his exposition of Philippians and the message relates to how the born again believer can remain unduanted, regardless of circumstances, if he or she is living in fellowship with Christ. Early Service Ends Sunday CAPE MAY - The Rev. Cass, pastor, will preach at the8:30and 10:30a.m. worship services, Sunday at the First Presbyterian Church. The sermon topic is “Loving ^ourself". Nursery care is provided at 10:30. This will be the last 8:30 service until 1984. Church supper will be 6:30 p.m Monday, Sept. 15, in the Wedgewood room. 'Every Wednesday Bible Study is held 7:36 p.m. in the church Ibunge!

At 3, the church will be conducting installation services for Dr. BAer. Because of the afteWlon services, there will be no evening service. The public is invited to attend the installation service. Rev David Cole of Calvary Orthodox Presbyterian Church and Pastor Christopher Tindall of Westgrove Presbyterian Church will be the keynote

speakers.'

Prior to accepting the call to minister in this area. Dr Baker was Associate Professor of Theology at Northeastern ) Bible College, Essex Falls, for seven .. years. He was also coordinator of the' ministerial curriculum. Dr.JBaker is also the author of one book and several journal

articles.

Dr. Baker graduated with the B.A. degree in 1969 from Calvary Bible College. and with the M.A. degree in 1970 from the graduate division of Calvary Bible College. He then received the M. Div. in 1972 from Nazarene Theological Seminary. Dr. Baker then attended Dallas Theological Seminary
