Seafood Festival Slates Restaurant Specialties

CAPE MAY - A number of the city, restaurants will band together in a united display of seafood culinary delights Sunday, Sept. 11, as part of the First Cape May Seafood Festival. The restaurants in the Festival will range from long entrenched, wellknown establishments to the very newest member of the Cape May restaurant community. The participating restaurants will gather together on the ocean-side veranda of historic Congress Hall from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Included among the cooperating restaurants is the Old Shire which will make available its own special edition of shrimp broquette as well as a specially prepared seafood salad.

The Bayberry Inn, which is adjacent to host Congress Hall, will offer Oriental fried shrimp along with its renowned seafood crepe. Well known for its seafood bisque, the Montreal Inn will make this dish available along with its Bouillabaisse. McGlade’s Mansion House, a family owned and operated business, will feature # thelr homemade crab cakes in conjunction with their own original Manhattan Clam Chpwder. Trattoria, the newest food establishment represented in the Festival, will offer pasta with various seafood and a new dessert dish. While all ,of the above restaurants are displaying their specialties, a Dixieland band, the “Kings of Ragtime", will perform for , the public.

Fall Antique Show, Sale At Village

COLD SPRING - A Fall Antique Show and Sale, featuring some 20 dealers ! in the New J^rseyPennsylvania region will be held Saturday and Sum day at Historic Cold Spring Village. A selection of furniture, glassware, china, country items and collectibles, jewelry and many more antiques will be available both days. The village, a collection of 15 restored and preserved farm buildings of the 18th and 19th centuries, is open daily 10 a.m.-5 p.m. It will close for the season Oct. 2.
