Apparatus Shown off By Police SEA ISLE CITYr-"A s demonstration of the physical fitness apparatus recently provided, the police department took place Friday, Sept. 2, at the Public Safety Building on Kennedy Blvd Present for the demonstration were Mayor Dominic C. Raffa and Police Chief Carl G&nsert. The equipment, a height lifting universal, was recently installed in the police department squad room. IN THANKING the mayor as head of the Public Safety Department, for the equipment. Sgt Wayne C. Wilson, depart mental representative of PBA Local 59. said: "Traditionally, morale amongst the men peaks in the summer season and. unfortunately, wanes in the winter. There can be no jdispute that providing the men with physical fitness apparatus will encourage good feelings and a means to release inner tension and develop better bodies to perform their jobs even better.’’
