The state's citizen hotline for reporting unemployment insurance fraud is a toll-free number. It is 800-221-1679 and is covered from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. A temporary hotline provided 130 calls and tips about fraud. *** ■ Ever go whale watching? In cold Cape Cod waters, <?£htseeing boats take tourists out daily for a '‘look-see" at humpback' whales frolicking in the deep icy waters of New - England. In fact, Capt. Ronald Sinn of the Crest recently sold his Flamingo for a undisclosed sum to take part in the whale watching fleet. He is still operating' the big catamaran Flamingo in local .waters for senior citizens and conventioneers. Pending is a movie production about a sightseeing ^ boat disaster at sea penned ~ by the Sinn’s Crest neighbor, movie star Bruce Davison. Davison was an announce- on the Sinn’s PT-109 sightseeing boat. Shelly Winters will star in the movie about life aboard sightseeing craft. Davison’s mother, Mrs. Marion Hubbert, is a Crest colonist and his sister Jody plans to become a permanent resident this fall. His cousins* Alice and Heidi Werner, are a barperson and waitress at line’s Pegleg Parrot Lounge — , and The Captain’s Table respectively. But they aren’t the only celebrityrelated service personnel hereabouts. Clandia and Linda McMahon, daughters of TV’s Ed, often wait tables in Avalon under an alias. Enzo Stuarti's son was a staffer at Ed Zaberer’s before he became a night club singer. He was also part of a barbershop quartette at the Red Garter and resided in the quad his father owns in Anglesea Beach Colony, near quarters owned by Connie Francis’ parents. The Francis patriarchs sold their Crest {land holdings to Al and Mae Timer. Timer is a former Lockheed pilot oh - Long Island and is active at the county airport. BRING YOUR own seating for the huge Firemen's parade this Saturday in Wildwood. The parade moves north on New Jersey Ave. starting at high noon. Featured will be countless floats, beauty queens, comedy units, string bands, award-winning military, college, school and veterans bands and bugle and drum corps. The parade may last as long as 6 p.m. Antique and jet age Fire engines in all the colors of the rainbow will enliven the procession. •** • Witival! the empty nester senior citizens flooding Wildwood, you wouldn’t expect storks to visit the area. But will miracles never cease? Pete Dunn reports the eighth record sighting of two baby wood storks in the South Cape May meadows daily. These rare birds do not breed north of the Caroiinas. Apparently the prolonged heat waves have convinced the storks the Cape is more

southerly than we imagined. They/ have black flight feathers atop a white body. They stand about 4 feet tall and have a thick decurved dark bill that resumbles an

Aztec war club. Their habitat is tropical swamps' and marshes, especially mangrove swamps. The only nesting colonies in the U.S.A. are in Florida. They resemble the rare white

stork of Eurasia. The stork flies with slow wing beats, neck and legs extended. The black tail and wing tips are conspicuous. They forage fdr snakes, frogs and fishes in muddy waters. Take your camera, as this is only the eighth time they have ever appeared in New 4ersey. The pelican influx has abated — no newcomers have been sighted for a * month.
