Cape Clerks Take Part ( ' In Institute
OTSyRACUSE - Charlotte F. Daily, Borough Clerk, West Cape May, and Claudia R. Kammer, Cleric vof the Township of Lower, attended the JSth Annual Institute for Professional Clerks at University ^College/Syracuse University recently with other clerks from New Jersey and Canada, Ne'w York, Florida, yliriois, and Pennsylvania. The thr^e-year course leads to International Certification as a Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) Mrs. Daily has previously received her Registered Municipal G erics Certification from Rutgers University and Mrs. Kammer completed her second year towards her CMC certification. COURSES OF study included Transactional Analysis, Stress Management, Public Speaking, Public Relations, Word Processing, and Team Building. The clerics also participated in a swap shop of problems and solutions encountered in the clerk’s office. A number of the clerks attending the Institute will be attending the New Jersey State €lerks Association fall conference in Wildwood Sept. 31-Oct. 1.
Cadet Blyler At ROTC Camp - ocean crrr - cadet Nina M. Blyler, daughter of David N. and Rosemarie V. Blyler- of 849 Plaza Dr, received practical work in military leadership at the U.S. Army ROTC advanced . camp. Fort Bragg, N.C. The six-week camp, at-, tended by cadets normally between their third and fourth year of college, includes instruction in communications, management and survival training. Blyler is a student at West Chester University, Pa., and is attending ROTC at Widener University, Chester, Pa.
