WILDWOOD - Cape May County Cm dr. Jean Berger boated the 65th Annual American Legion Research Head JERSEY CITY - Thomas J. Stanton Jr, chairman of First Jersey National Corporation, a $1.5 billion Jersey Citybased bank bolding company, has announced the appointment of Carol A. Chestnut as assistant vice president and research manager for the Corporation’s Marketing Division. Chestnut will be responsible for customer and product research to aid the retail*&d commercial marketing plans of the Corporation's four subsidiary banks.
Dept. Convention held here Sept. 6-10, at which Michad Patuzyn was elected N.J. Dept. Commander for 1963-84. Among the prominent speakers to address the delegates were Keith Kreul, National Commander of the American Legion, Gov. Thomas H. Kean, U.S. Sen. William Bradley and U.S. Rep. James Courier of the 12th Congressional District. Addresses of welcome were extended by Cmdr. Berger, Mayor Earl B. Ostrander, Mayor John J. Pantalone of Wildwood Crest and other local dignitaries. The convention concluded with Saturday's parade, which highlighted tbe convention. ii": '
Fall Meeting CAPE MAY POINT - The Women’s Civic Club, at its first fall meeting Sept. 8, discussed plans for annual donations to various organizations in the area.
