CAPE MAY F-OINT - Walter Sachs, of Merion, Pa., and this borough, is the new president of the boroifgh Taxpayers’ Association, succeeding John D. Await, who resigned after serving several years. Other officers elected at a recent meeting were: J. Hamilton Hamm, vice president; Mrs. Charlotte. Miller, secretary, and Mrs. Irma Plunkett, treasurer. Directors for two-year terms are Charles Reeves and Mahlon Sowers, with Mrs. Ethel Sowers and Dr. Genevieve VanBever as alternates. Existing directors are Await, David Eaby and David Rutherford. AWARDS FOR the Second Annual Gardep Contest were presented by Mrs. Nanine Dowling. Winners in various categories were: Best garden, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony E. Miller, 311 Brainard Ave., for which . they received a silver bowl with their names inscribed, which they will keep for a
