MIDDLE TWP. - Leaves will be picked up throughout the Township on specified dates starting Oct. 3, according to Committeewoman Pat Peterson. For the past five years, township residents have been able to have their leaves picked up at their homes, a service not offered in any other municipality in the county. Peterson, who is in charge

of the operation, said areas north of Indian Trail will be picked up between Oct. 3 and 7. Areas south of Indian Trail will be picked up Oct. 10 through 13. . Residents should rake the leaves to the gutter in front of their homes where it will be picked up by truck and mulched. The mulch is available to residents for their gardens by calling Township Hall, Peterson said.
