WILDWOOD - Gala Champagne. Concert cochairman Roman P. Osadchuk and Charles E. Pessagno have announced that a free rehearsal concert featuring ths N.J. Pops Orchestra has been scheduled for area school children again D>i* year. The . rehearsal is scheduled the afternoon of the concert, Sunday, Oct. 9, between "tl and S p.m. Last year over 200 area school children listened to conductor Michael Buglio and his 45-member orchestra for afternoon.. Buglio plain to his young audience the various classical and popular music compositions, such as highlights from “West Side Stay” and John Philip Sousa’s ‘-‘Stars and Stripes Forever." This year’s rehearsal and concert will have a special attraction, with the premia' performance ot Metropolitan bass baritone Andrij Dobriansky In South Jersey, teftdchuk and Pessagno have selected local school superintendent Edward -J. Campbell to coordinate the afternoon
and hors d'oeuvres will be served throughout the concert Tickets are available

Complementary champagne League Plans Exhibit CAPE MAY - The Cape May County Art League, 1060 Washington $L, will exhibit the works of Alice Steer Wilson in October, with an opening reception Saturday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the downstairs gallery. Wilson, a resident of Cape May and Spring Brook.. Pa., earned her undergraduate degree from Oberlin College and has studied at several art institutions, including the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and the Philadelphia Museum School. She has exhibited her worts in many solo and group exhibitions, and has participated in juried shows at the art league, the Philadelphia Water Cola Club and the Perkins Center. Hus year Wilson won the Union Carbide Award from the Perkihs Center. The league exhibit, entitled “Streets of Cape May,” will be open to the public during regular hours.
