NEWCASTLE.DE - At the September meeting of the Delaware River and Bay Authority, the commissioners approved a recommendation that a fifth vessel be added to the Cape May-Lewes Ferry fleet for operation starting in the summer of 1965 .Authority Director, William J. Award Goes To Chinnici

COURT HOUSE - Assemblyman Joseph W. Chinnici (R-lst Dist.) was presented with a special Surf and Wave Achievement Award by Ocean City Councilman John Esposito for his outstanding 12 years of service in the General Assembly. Esposito lauded Chinnici's continuous efforts regarding the appropriation of moneys and support

of bond issues to curtail beach erosion, his continuous support for the seafood industry' and promoting tourism, and most recently his efforts in behalf of the dredging of Hereford's Inlet so that it can be used by pleasure, craft. The plaque was created, designed and made by T John Carey.
