WILDWOOD - An installation service for the : Rev. Dawn Nichols Mays, pastor of the The First Baptist Church, will be held at the church 4 p.rn Sunday. A number of honored guests will take part in the ^/ installation ceremony, include n.g executive members of The American Baptist Churches of New Jersey, the Reverend Dr. George D. Younger, the Rev. Alvin R. Lee. and the Rev. Allan W. Anderson. Members of the Greater Wildwood Pastoral Association who -will take part in the ceremony are Rabbi Seymour Atlas and the Rev. Dr. William A. Wenker. United Methodist Minister, Ret., the Rev. Mass Honors Lay Leaders COURT HOUSE - Our Lady of Angels Roman Catholic Church was the site of its parish's first lectors and musicians mass. The mass, concelebrated by the Revs: Peter Jones and John Ward, honored the church’s lectors, musi- .. clans, and their spouses. Ft. Ward, in his homily, praised them for their sacrifices and reminded them of their inporta nee. Crest Service WILDWOOD CR. - Worship service is at 11 a m. Sunday at Crest Community Church, with Rev Charles L. Rowe, pastor, preaching. Mrs. Bette Van Dyke will be at the organ, and will direct the junior and adult choirs in the morning anthems. A nursery and junior church are provided. ,• First Baptist N. WILDWOOD - Sunday services are held 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Anglesea, Third and Atlantic Aves. The pastor is Rev. James J. Williams. Sunday School is41:45 a.m., prayer service 7 p.m. Wednesday, and Bible study 7 p.m. Friday. ^

MAYS began her pastorate July 17, prior to which time she had served the church as interim pastor from November, 1982 through April, 1983 She is an Divinity degree from Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1981. Holding a Bachelor of Arts degree from Glass boro State College, The Rev. Mays is also certified in Music. Education a n da s a. Teacher/Librarian.
The Rev. Mays is the wife of William M. Mays, an assistant professor of mathematics at Gloucester Community College. The Mays are the parents of sons William Jr, li, and Scott, 8. Following the installation ceremony, refreshments will be served in Fellowship Hall at a reception honoring Rev. Mays, her husband, and sons, as well as members of her and her husband’s extended families, all of whom will be among-Uie honored guests. Friends of the church are cordially invited to attend both the installation service and the reception.
