WILDWOOD. CR. - The First United Methodist Church, at 6700 Atlantic Ave., holds worship service at 9:30 a.m. Sunday. Laity Sunday will be observed this week as members of the congregation lead the

worship.

Sunday School for all ages begins with worship at 9:30. The children and youth participate in study, activities, and crafts beginning at 10 a.m. Evening worship is at 7:30. Wednesday evening Bible Study is

at 7.

Episcopal Church to a convention Oct. 14 and 15 to elect a suffragan bishop of the Diocese of New Jersey are Mrs. John Ritchie and

Work on the building improvement program is continuing, with volunteers now painting the outside of

the church.

The Holy Eucharist is celebrated at the 8 and 10 a.m. service Sundays, with a coffee and fellowship hour following each service. A nursery is provided during the 10 o’clock service. A weekly chapel service, with communion, is held 10 a.m. Thursdays. Church School meets. 9:45 a.m. Sundays.
