AT THE HOP — The H.B. Smith Cornet Band will entertain at the Victorian Dinner Hop, Saturday night’s high point of Cape May’s annual Victorian Weekend, Friday through Sunday. Tracing its roots trf the prize-winning, troupe, organized by H.B. Smith in the late 1800s, the band plays Victorian numbers and transforms into the Ran cocas Punch-Dixieland Band with the help of ban joist

Society Shows Films Tuesday C^PE MAY - "Ghost of the Pines,” and ‘‘Forgotten Times — Folklore of the Pine Barrens,” two films, will be shown during the 7:30 p.m. meeting. Oct. 11, of the Greater Cape May Historical Society. The meeting will be held in the Colonial House, 6534 Washington St. (behind Alexander’s Restaurant). The meeting is open to the public. Refreshments will be served afterward.
