Sack was, township assistant building inspector for six years,bas served on the recreation committee for the past Five years, and is now in his secdhtl term as a member of the Township Planning Board. FRANKLIN SACK

World War and saw action in the Central Pacific, where he received two battalion citations. One of those citations was for the fastest construction of an airfield under combat conditions. Sack remembers that in just nine days he and his men turned a jungle setting into an operating airfield while under constant enemy fire. Sack has just recently retired as general foreman for Pittsburgh Plate Glass Co., where he was an iron worker. River Power Plant and The Playboy Hotel-Casino. He is a 42-year member of Local 350, United Iron Workers. Sack and his wife Mildred have four grown children. For a number of years he has been raising claims as a hobby, and has taken specialized courses at The University of Delaware in marine biology. He has been experimenting in many new methods of raising clams and is developing a new faster growing hybrid. He maintains his facilities for the dam project ih Upper Township.
