Sculpture On Exhibit

WILDWOOD CR - Robert Spurgeon, of South Dennis is displaying five or six pieces of his modern sculpture done in marble at the Cr&t Public Library. Spurgeon graduated from the Margaret Mace School in North Wildwood and then went on to attend the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia. In addition to the marble carvings, Spurgeon carves in wood and makes hand-made jewelry which he sells at his shop in Burleigh. His work in marble will be on display at the library until the end of October. All are welcome to visit and view these pieces. The library is open 10 a.m.- 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and l p.m.- 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The library is at fcSOl Ocean Ave.

Oct. 25: Baked chicken with gravy-, bread stuffing, Italian mixed vegetables, cup cake with chocolate icing. Oct. 2f>: Stuffed creole pepper, apple juice, tossed mixed salad with French dressing, doughnut. Oct. 27: Chili con carne with kidney beans, rice, peas, peach cobbler.
