St. Mary’s Eucharist
STONE HARBOR - The Holy Eucharist is celebrated 8 and 10 a.m. Sunday at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church. A coffee and fellowship hour follows each service. A nursery is provided during the 10 o’clock Eucharist. Church School for students in Kindergarten through Junior High School meets in the Parish Hall 9:45 a.m. A weekly chapel service, in which Communion is served, is held 10 a.m. Thursday. The Episcopal Church Women are continuing their “Pantry Shelf’’ program. Canned goods and other staples are being collected. Work on the Building Improvement Program is continuing. At present improvements to the interior of the Parish Hall are being completed. For further information about activities at St. Mary’s, call the church office at 368-5922.
WILDWOOD - Since 1919, Byron Pennington Croker, American Legion Post and Unit No. 184 has been entertaining veterans and their families during the Halloween season As in the past, Nora Lloyd, president, and ladies of the auxiliary prepared and served a roast beef luncheon to 40 disabled veterans from the New Jersey Memorial Home, Vineland, here recently Mary Lou Frisch, Activities Coordinator, of the Memorial Home, said "the spirits of the Veterans were extremely high, and they looked forward to this annual event, because of the opportunity to dine and be entertained by their comrades." Looking forward to Veterans Day, Turse announced a community-wide observance is planned for
