BURLEIGH - Rev. Rex Whiteman from the Atlantic City Rescue Mission will be the speaker Sunday morning at Faith Fellowship Chapel, Route 9 and Oyster Rd. At the 11 a.m. service he will share the work the Lord is doing in the adult and youth ministry in Atlantic City. The members and friends of the church will give a special offering for the needs of the rescue misAdvent Series Starts Sunday GREEN CREEK - Pastor Joseph Muggleworth will begin an Advent sermon series this week at the Green Creek Community Church, Delsea Dr. His message at 11 a.m. Sunday worship service will be “The First Telstar” or “The Star of Bethlehem”. Sunday School meets at 9:45 a.m. with classes for all ages. A nursery is available at all services. Prayer meeting meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month. The next Men’s Prayer breakfast will be 7 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 10. The next Hymn Sing Night featuring local talent will be 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18 for information call 886-6144.

N. CAPE MAY - “The Transcendent Worthiness of Christ” is the theme of the 11 a.m. worship service of the Covenant Bible Church, Fishing Creek Rd., near Bayshore Rd., according to the pastor. Dr. George Fincke. The service will be broadcast over WCMC, 1230 AM. The young people will meet in the music room at 5:45 with Grace and Ray Steffens. The Senior Choir will rehearse in the sanctuary at 6 p.m. At the 7 p.m. worship service, the sermon is entitled, “Honest Mistakes”. The service will be broadcast over WSJL-FM, 102.3 FM. At 10 p.m. Dr. Fincke hosts the weekly call-in program„ “Let’s Talk” over WSJL-FM, for listeners to ask questions about the Bible, or to seek help with personal problems.
