Our Saviour Party Set , Wreath-making Yule Bazaar
STONE HARBOR - At Our Saviour Lutheran Church, Pastor Glenn Schoenberger’s sermon Sunday is entitled: “The Jesse Tree." Worship is at 11 a.m. Sunday Church School ai^d confirmation classes meet at 9:30 a.m. The final installment of
the bible study on the Letter of James will be held tomorrow. On Dec. 4 at 2 p.m. will be a St. Nicholas Party. The afternoon will include cookie baking, tree decorating, singing and learning about how Christmas is observed in other nations of thelworld.
WILDWOOD CREST - The Crest Community Church Sunday School is sponsoring a wreathmaking class in the church social hall 10 a.m. - noon today. Wreaths are made from the “fox-tails” of marsh grass.
VILLAS — The Women of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, Washington and Bay Shore, will hold their Christmas bazaar starting 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3. Light lunches will be available.
EVANGELIST — Paul Schumacher, sacred concert and recording artist, will present his musical ministry at Covenant Bible Church, North Cape May, 7 p.m. Wednesday. Dec. 7. Schumacher has nine record albums, the latest being ‘The Heavens Declare”. He and his wife Nancy recently purchased Radio Station WSJL-FM in Rio Grande. 1 ‘Life from Old Stump’ WILDWOOD - Rev. Dawn N. Mays will preach at the 11 a.m. Sunday morning worship service at the First Baptist Church. The sermon is entitled “Life from an Old Dead Stump”. •Sunday School begins at 9:45 a.m. with classes for everyone. A nursery is provided for Church school and for the 11 a.m. worship service. Christmas Luncheon STONE HARBOR - The Episcopal Church Women df St. Mary’s Church will hold a Christmas covered dish lucheon noon, Monday, Dec. 5, at which a “cookie exchange” will take place. Participants will bring Christmas gifts, which will be given to residents of Crest Haven Nursing Home. The St. Mary’s Men’s Club will sponsor its annual Christmas luncheon at the Whitebrier Inn, Avalon, noon Friday, Dec. 9. Reser^vations are being accepted by Ed Yeager. The Holy Eucharist is celebrated at 8 and 10 a.m. Sunday, with a coffee hour pnd fellowship following each service. A weekly chapel service, with communion, is held 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
