Parade Queen

W. CAPE MAY - Queen for the 18th annual Community Christmas Parade Saturday will be Laura McPherson, daughter of Charles and Karen McPherson, 523 Broadway. Laura is 11, and a sixth grader at South Jersey Christian Academy. First runner-up and named princess was Elsa Petronella VanBerry, 11, also a sixth g|pder, of Our Lady Star of tne Sea, Cape May. Chocolate House for Decoration COURT HOUSE - Learn how to make a chocolate house as a Christmas decoration for your home at the Cape May County Library 7:30 p.nf. Dec. 7., when local cook and fantasy architect Lois McClure teaches the basics. “It’s Jim, creative and the house will smeli of chocolate throughout the holidays,” describes Ms. McClure of the venture. "It’s less work, and less expensive than the gingerbread houses and a great deal less daunting. Anyone can make one.” As an added attraction, the basics of making a graham cracker house for the children will be taught to parents: “If an adult carefully slices the graham crackers you can get three houses from one box of crackers, they are very easy to decorate, and the cost is negligible.”
