SWAINTON - Three area performers are currently appearing as part of an eight member acting company, heading the casts of three different and varied musical/comedy productions at the 76 House Dinner Theatre. Jim Maher, of Ocean View, Mike Boyle of Sea Isle City, and Anne Lutz of Ocean City, each have featured roles in Neil Simon’s comedy classic The Odd Couple, the TonyAward winning musical drama Shenandoah, and the long-running family musical Annie. These three productions are being presented on a Friday-Saturday-Sunday basis through the holdiay Christmas Song Fest
AVALON — Die Angelus Chrous will present a new program of Christmas music in the Community Hall, 30th St., and the boardwalk, 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3. Die recital is sponsored by the Avalon Home and Land Owners Association in cooperation with the Avalon Performing Arts Committee. The program will last about an hour, after which complimentary refreshments of wine and cheese will be served. Dckets may be obtained from any member of the trustees of the association, by calling 967-8232 or can be purchased at the door. The 50 member chorus has been entertaining with their songs for over 20 years. Sherman D. Scull is the director of the chorus and Mary Griffith is the accompanie&t. Margaret Jones is chairman.

Maher, who resides in Ocean View with his wife and three children, previously played the leading role in the 76 House Production of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. He studied music at Temple University, and has developed a loyal following from Sunday morning performances at 9t. Joseph's Church in Sea Isle, where he sings and plays guitar. Boyle, who is a native of Sea Isle City, is performing in his tenth consecutive production at the 76 House. He attended Ocean City High School, and is the former president and current coach of Sea Isle’s Pee Wee Hockey League He, too, is a member of the St. Joseph’s Parish. Ocean City resident Anne Lutz is a graduate of Ocean City High School and the University Of Delaware, where she majored in theatre and dance. Currently a dance teacher, Ms. Lutz previously performed on the 76 House stage in Annie Get Your Gun and Guys and Dolls.
