CITY OF CAPE May Women's Republican Club . is/having its annual Caristmas Party Dec. 13 at the Atlas Motor Inn, Beach Drive and Madison Avenue. Dinner is 7 p.m. with.cocktails at 6 p.m. Music is by “Now and Then.’’ Choice of prime ribs or broiled filet of founder — with fresh fruit medley, salad, rolls and butter, mixed vegetables Romanio, stuffed baked potatoes, parfai|, coffee or tea.

stango at 884-4770 and all will be arrangeed insofar as pick-up etc. Highlight of the day will be the drawing of a food basket complete with turkey, vegetables, wine, cake...you name it. Chances will be oo sale all day long at three for $1 for this complete food basket. Doors open 9 a.m. until about 3 p.m. or whenever we sell out. There’ll be some Christmas items too — good for stocking stuffers — some hand-made items. This is a once-a-year affair but if you’ve ever been to one you know it’s, very much in demand — the cakes, pies and cookies are super. Best to come early, get your pick, save cookies for the holidays. BUT REMEMBEER, it’s all for our own' rescue squad here in Cape May — surely one of the finest around.

KNOW WHAT? Harry Satt of Atlas Motor Inn surely has to be Santa himself. He’s always willing to help wherever needed. This time to the Cape May Rescue Squad. Without Harry it would be . tough sledding! The squad salutes this very gracious man with a heart twice as big as his size!

CONDOLENCES go out . to Marge Markley of Cape May upon the loss of her dear brother. WANT TO HELP/ Out Lady of the Sea is in the process of gathering members for a choir to celebrate our Christmas Masses. Anyone desiring to help should just come to rehearsals on Tuesdays, 7:30 p.m. in the church. Join in singing Christmas carols and have fund doing it too. No experience is necessary. It’s just getting the spirit of Christmas and wanting to help too!
