MORRISTOWN, - Horizon Bancorp and Clark Equipment Credit Corp. have announced that they have entered into a purchase agreement providing for the sale of the stock of Horizon Creditcorp, a subsidiary of Horizon Bancoip, to Clark Credit, a subsidiary of Clark Equipment Company. The purchase price is to be in excess of Horizon Creditcorp’s book value. Additional terms of the sale were not disclosed, except that the transaction is expected to close before yearend. Horizon Bancorp is a $2.4 billion bank holding company headquartered in Morristown. Horizon Creditcorp is headquartered in Cedar Knolls, and operates throughout the country from seven regional locations. Horizon’s other subsidiaries are: American NationaPliank, Horizon

BURLfilGH - A strong increase in membership in the Mid Jersey Cape Rotary Club was noted by Don Yeager, 1983-84 district governor, on his recent visit to the club at the Wildwood Golf Club. Yeager traced the Rotary movement from its founding in 1905 by Paul Harris. Although it was founded in the United States, it has spread to over 158 countries, yeager said.
