THEY’RE THERE every week to see that the church altars are just as clean as can be — Mrs. Julie Titus, Mrs. Warren O’Neill, Mary Bromley, Betty Eldredge and Nettie Mescolotto. That’s why the dedication these women have make them almost indispensable. Our Lady Star of the Sea Church in Cape May is beautiful, and with their weekly help, well it’s just perfect!

DON’T FORGET, if you want to state your views about the proposed parking lots designated by the City of Cape May, the Elementary School Board is calling a public meeting for Saturday, Dec. 17, at 10 a.m. The parking plan as outlined by the city is truly the answer in more ways than one insofar as our congested parking situation is concerned. It’ll mean a lot to have the streets clearer, es pec tally for fire engines and emergency rescue squad runs ioo. Think about it, but more than that, bby concerned. It’s your privilege! HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Sheila Nollander, former owner of the Central Pharmacy here in town. Sheila has a contagious laugh — always the congenial hostess, be it in the drugstore or at -fiome. We wish her so many, many more happy times. Hubby, jack, can still be seen on Sundays at Central Pharmacy, where he’s still known as “Doc”.

It’s lovely to have a Christmas card with your home pictured thereon. This is just what Judy D'Orio and Diane Fisher have done. It’s called “The Villa”, the former home of artist Nina Scull, but these girls have just about turned the house about. The result is simply divine! Patricia Pal Promoted N. CAPE MAY - Patricia L.
