Time Out Dining Guide IT’S LIMBO TIME. The week between Christmas and New Year’s is viewed as a kind of bonus. It’s a good time to visit family and friends, shop for after-Christmas markdowns and put the feet up. Now that winter is officially here, the weather doesn’t usually stay in our corner. However the winter predictions go, we can say this for sure: there’ll be winter alright. No getting away from that. If you’re in pretty good health and able to get out, an invigorating walk is a good idea on a sunny, cold day. Be sure to dress warmly — that helps a lot. Layer upon layer is the way to dress on blustery days. • • • With New Year’s just around the bend, are you making a list of resolutions? There are two kinds of people when it comes to resolutions: those who do them and those who don’t. A lot of people do them, but don’t stick to them. And those who don’t do them, don’t have to worry about either doing them or keeping them. Makes life easier.

JANUARY comes from. Janus, the god of the door who

had charge of the passage between the past and the

future. TTie ancient Romans called on him for help,

whenever they embarked on a new venture. They gave his name to the first month of the year, and pictured him with two faces, one looking backward at the old year and the

other looking forward to the new year. Happy New Year! Here’s some suggestions for celebrating 1964: URIE’S New Year'* Weekend. Leave it to Urie’s Reef &

Beef to come up with a great idea for celebrating the New Year’s weekend. Have dinner for two on New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day and a full bottle of champagne comes

with it, free. Dinner will be served from 5 to 10 p.m. , There’ll be Vi price cocktails and free hors d’oeuvres
