Candlelight House Tour On Dec. 30

CAPE MAY - This Victorian'city will open its doors Friday Dec. 30, for the 10th annual Christmas candlelight house tour from 6 to 10. A special feature of the tour this year will be a display of gingerbread houses at the county art league. Over a dozen private homes and guest houses especially decorated for the Holidays will be open for the tour, as well as several churches of the city, making this the largest tour ever. "Grandma’s House,” an 1824 cottage, and the ever-popular "Americana Room” will be two of the featured homes. Proceeds from the tour go towards the restoration of the Emlen Physick Estate and the community arts programs sponsored by MAC, a non-profit organization. The Victorian trolley will provide "Car-free” touring for the candlelight tour. Parking will be available at the Physick Estate, 1048 Wash.
