Alan I. Gould . President ALAN 1. GOULD - Alon Gould is president ol tfw Boord and has served in that capacity since 1980. He moved into the position with experience os vice president ^ond as a member of the Joint AdvisoryGommittee. A graduate of the University of Miami. Undergraduate and. Law School Mr. Gould is on attorney with offices in Wildwood and Northfield. His professional experience includes a term as president of the Cope May County Bar Association os well os service and chairmanship ol the District I Ethics Committee for Gape Mdy. Cumberland. Atlantic and Salem Counties. He also serves as trustee to the New Jersey State Bar Association. From 1976 to 1981 he served as commissioner on the Cape May County Board of Taxation. He is . also a past president of the Greater Wildwood Lions Club and president of the Lions Corporation which operates the Lions Center, a residence for senior citizens. Mr. Gould has servant as solicitor for Lower Township Public Schools. Wildwood Crest Public Schools. Cope May County Drug Abuse Council. Parking Authority of the City of Wildwood. Cope May Branch of the American Cancer Society and Cope Educational Fund Incorporated. Alan Gould is admitted to practice before the New Jersey* Bar. the Florida Bor. New Jersey Federal District Court, the Florida Federal District Court and the Supreme Court of the United States. He is a member of the American Bar Association. Federal Bar Association. New Jersey Bor Association. Florida Bar Association. American Trial Lawyers. American Judicature -Society; Association of Criminal Defense ^lawyers Commercial Low League, and the Cope May County Bar Association. Mr. Gould served in the United States Air Force Reserve. His free time activities include Vunning. tennis and golf. He is a native of Cape May County whose family has been in the Wildwood area since 1900. He and his wife. Joyce and their daughter Traci, currently reside in Wildwood Crest. Floyd J. Langon First Vice-President FLOYD LANGON Joined the Boord in 1977 ond currently holds the position of first vice president. He serves on the Personnel Committee ond hos hod experience on the Building • ond Grounds ond Nominating Committees. Mr. Langon graduated from Temple University School of Pharmacy ond is a registered pharmacist. He first ; worked as a pharmacist in Indiana and then as a salesman for Eli Lilly in Tennessee. In 1964. he opened Langon'i Pharmacy in North Cape May. a business he still owns ond operates. Mr. Langon is a member of the National Association of Retail Druggists and the AtlanticCope May County Pharmaceutical Association. He is a charier member ond a post president of the Lower Township Rotary Club. Mr. Langon lives in Goshen. His special interests include amateur -'odio. computers and horses. Robert J. Sorensen, M.D. ' Second Vice-President DR. ROBERT J. SORENSEN • Served on the Board of Govemori since 1972. Dr. Sorensen has been a member of the long Range Planning Committee. He currently serves os the Board's second vice president. He first ioined medical staff in 1964 and has served os its chief of cardiology since 1972 and os chief of medicine since 1900 Dr. rSorensen received b'* Bochelor of £rts
degree from LaSalle College ..vhich he attended with a full tuition scholarship and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He earned his MD at Jefferson Medical College whfere he was named a member of Alpha Omega Alpha an honorary medical society. He served his internship at Germantown Hospital and Dispensary, in Philadelphia. Pennsylvania. Dr. Sorensen served in the regular United States Army from 1956 to 1963. During that time^ he was chief resident in medicine at Brooke General Hospital in San Antonio Texas. He took advanced training in military medicine and allied services at Walter Reed Army Research Institute in Washington D.C. . ond served as the chief of general medicine service at Valley Forge Army General Hospital in PhoenixviUe. Pennsylvania Dr. Sorensen was certified in internal medicine in 1962 ond recertified in 1974. He received the Physician's Recognition Award of the American Medical Association in 1973. 1976. 1979 ond'1962. the. requirement of which is 150 credits or more of continued medical education. Dr. Sorensen is a member of the American Medical Association. American Society of In ternal Medicine. American College of Chest Physicians. American College of Physicians. Medical Society of New Jersey ond Medico! Society of the County of Cope May. He is c resident of Wildwood Crest. He ond his wife. Mona, hove eight children, two of whom are now MD s carrying on the family's medical tradition. eWilliam C.Koeneke Treasurer WILLIAM C. KOENEKE Joined the Board in 1965. He has served as the Boord treasurer and chairman of the Finance Committee since 1966. He also has hod experience on the Bylaws Committee. Evaluation Study Committee. Nominating Committee ond Contributions Committee. Mr. Koeneke is a retired banker who rose from the position of teller for the Marine National Bank to become its director, president and trust ^bfficer. He is a past president of the Cope May Coyhty Bankers ond a former director of the Cape May County Savings ond Loon Association. He. also served a term as chairman of the local district of the New Jersey Bonkers Association Federpl Reserve Relations ComqMpee. Always active in community affairs. Mr. Koeneke hos served as a trustee of Stockton State College ond as a member ond chairperson of the North Wildwood Planning ^oard. Mr. Koeneke is also a member of the Hereford Lodge 177 of the Free ond Accepted Masons ond on Honorary Member of the New Jersey Marine Sciences Consortium. He has also served as treasurer for the First United Methodist Church of Wildwood. During World War II. Mr. Koeneke was an active member of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary. He and his wife. Clara, ore residents of Wildwood. „ Thomas Brodesser, Jr. THOMAS BRODESSER JR. A member of the Board of Governors since 1976. He is currently chairman of the Personnel Committee ond hos served on the Long Range Planning Confenittee. Building ond Grounds, and Executive Committees. Mr. Brodesser is a local businessman, originator and owner of one of the largest construction companies in Cope May County. T. brodesser Jr.. & Company. He i> the developer and builder of the Village Greene Homes Incorporated ond the Beachcomber Campground. His company was one of the promoters and builders of Cape May's historical Washington Street Mall. Mr.. Brodesser is a post president and charter member of the Lower Township Rotary Club ond a promoter of the K-9 Club in Lower Township.

He is a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1054 and of the Union League. Mr. Brodesser is also a member of the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce. Fishing, hunting, and golfing are his hobbies Born in Philadelphia. Pennsylvania. Mr. Brodesser and his family moved to New Jersey in 1945. ond they have been residents of Cope May County ever since. Douglass Collins DOUGLASS COLLINS • Board member since June of 1973. His experience in construction has been especially valuable to the hospital. He has served as chairman of the Building ond Grounds Committee for eight years a position in which he hos provided leadership for the three hospital building programs. - Mr. Collins also serves on the BTMH Joint Advisory Committee and hos been a member of the Executive Committee. Nominating Committee and various ad hoc committees. Doug Collins has been the owner and the president of the J.P. Collins Company for the past thirty years. He is also post president of the South Seaville building ond Loon Association. Mr. Collins is a member of the Cannon Lodge 104 of the Free and Accepted Masons and of the American Legion Tuckohoq739. He served as a.navy pilot during World War II. Flying is still one of his special interests. Mr. Collins is a lifelong resident of Cape May County. Frank Foster FRANK FOSTER - Hos been a board member since 1972. He is chairman of the Nominating Committee ond has served on the Building and Grounds Committee for 13 years. Now retired. Mr. Foster built the EHra Court Motel in Wildwood, ond operated it for 25 years. He was a member of the Wildwood ond Cope May County Chamber of Commerce ond is a member of the Planning Boord of Woodbine. Mr. Foster served for many years os a member of the Wildwood Recreation Commission. In 1966 he was appointed president of the Cape May County Parks Commission, a position he still holds He h on eider of the First Presbyterian Church ot
Wildwood.
Mr. Foster has been honored for his community service by the city of Wildwood ond the Women's Federation Grdup of Cape May County. An equal rights advocate, he was the first block to serve on the hospital Boord and on the Count) Parks Commission. Frank Foster ond his wife Elia, are residents of Woodbine. Mary Fischer MARY FISCHER Elected to the Board in 196!. after the benefit ball she was asked tp head and organize by the BTMH Auxiliary raised SI5.000 to benefit the hospital. She has been a volunteer at BTMH^ince the doors opened ond remains active in that role. She served os president of the Woodbine Branch of the Auxiliary for nine years, heading many fund-raising affairs to benefit the hospital. Mrs. Fischer also organized recognition programs for respected members ol the staff including Dr. Wayne Stewart and Dr. Robert Stmemon. %
Mrs. Fischer is currently chairperson of the Community Relations Committee, a position she hos held for the post ten years. In that role, she hos assumed a variety of leadership responsibilities ranging from heading up a school poster contest for Hospital Week to organizing dedication ceremonies to mark the opening of
the WhiticorWing.
Mrs. Fischer, now retired, was a selfemployed hair stylist for 30 years ond owned and operated her own beauty salon in Woodbine. Mrs. Fischer is chairperson of the Woodbine Zoning Board ond a member of Retired Senior Volunteer Program of Cope May County. She is also on active member of the Upper Township Senior Citizen Club ond of St. Cosimir's Roman Catholic Church. Woodbine. Mrs. Fischer resides with her husband. Edgar, in Woodbine. John Holland JOHN HOLLAND - Joined the Boord in 1981. having previously served for a short period during the 50's. His committee commitments include Quality Assurance. Building and Grounds, and Joint Advisory. Mr. Holland is a graduate of Michigan State University with a Bochelor of Science degree in community planning. Mr. Holland is a retired planner for Cape May Cumberland ond Salem Counties, os well as various South Jersey municipalities. His duties included providing direction for the various planning staffs ond reporting to him. Mr Holland currently owns and operates the Shore Holly.Fgrms Nursery. Mr. Holland is a past president of the Cape May Court House Kiwonis. He has also been on active member of the Bridgeton Rotary and the Executive Boord of the Southern New Jersey Council. Boy Scouts of America. His professional involvements have included the County Planners Association of which he is past president ond membership in the American
Institute of Planners.
Mr. Holland is a veteran of the United States Army Air Corps. He is a resident of Ocean View. Henry Peddle HENRY PEDDLE - Joined th* Board in 1970. Ho is immodioto past prosidont of tho BTMH Board of Governors having served in thol capacity for three years. He is Currently chairman of the long Range Planning Committee and a member of the Building and Grounds and Finance Committees Mr Peddle holds a Bochelor of Science in economics from the VYhorton School of Finance ond Commerce in Philadelphia. Pennsylvania. He is veteran of the.United States Air Force. Mr. Peddle is a post president of lefon E. Holler Incorporated a residential construction firm located in Malvern Pennsylvania He currently has a real estate financing and investment firm in Cope May County. He is also director ol Recreation Parts Estates Incorporated a local industrial real estate firm. A resident ol Avalon since 1962. Mr Peddle hos served the community as Partss and Recreation Director. He is also a past Com missioner ol Avalon whose responsibilities were revenue and linance. Mr. Peddle is a past director ol the Cap. May County Chamber of Commerce and past president of the Avalon Chamber of Commerce.
