William Kindle WILLIAM KINDLE Haccnlly joined the Board and is still involved in the orientation process. He assumed his duties in June of 1963. Mr. Kindle attended Florida Atlantic University- -in Boca Raton where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in bjplogy. After graduation, he joined the family business and now operates the auto dealership in Wildwood — Kindle Ford. Mercury. Lincoln and Dodge. With 30 people working under his direction. Mr. Kindle has a wide range of business experience including purchasing, financing, sales and management. Mr. Kindle ts a member of the Cape Island Lodge 30 of Free and Accepted Masons. William Kindle is a lifetime resident of Middle Township. He is a sports enthusiast who especially enjoys golfing and fishing. Flying is another interest and he has his pilot's license.

The Reverend Cass L. Shaw THE REVEREND CASS L. SHAW r Joined the Boord in 1961. Reverend Show is postor of the First Presbyterian Church of Cape May. She has served as a member of the Building and Grounds Committee and the BTMH Chaplaincy Council. She was also chairwoman of the Chapel Committee appointed to design a new chapel for the hospital's East Wing opening this January. Cass Show holds a Bachelor of Arts from Smith College and a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary. Cass Show is a former board member of the Jersey Cape Visiting Homemakers Service and of the Atlantic City Metropolitan Ministries Council. She is a member of the Soroptomist Club of South Jersey. In 1982. she was named Outstanding Young Woman of America. Cass Shaw has always been interested in community health care. Her involvement began as a young person when she served os a condystriper at her home town hospital in New York. She also actively participated in several hospitals in North Jersey during her seminary training. Among her other interests are mu^ic. soiling, and photography. • Robert J.Smeltzer ROBERT J. SMELTZER - Mr. Smeltzer is a recent addition to the Boord. He was recruited after having served as campaign chairman for the recent hospital building fund drive which resulted in pledges of over one-mi 11 ion dollars to aid the construction program. He currently serves on ‘he hospital Community Relations Committee. Mr. Smeltzer is o graduate of Springfield College in Massachusetts where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. Mr. Smeltzer is vice president of Marine National Bank. He is on American Management Association graduate with special training in supervisory and personnel management and in labor relations. Mr. Smeltzer is a post president and former chairman of the Board of Cope May County Chamber of Commerce. In 1977. he was honored by them as Member of the Year. Mr. Smeltzer has also served as chairman of the Cope May County Junior Miss Pageant from

1975 to 1982. He currently serves as the chairman of the Lower Township Zoning Board of Adjustment. He is a member pnd past president of the Cape May Kiwonis Club. Mr. Smeltzer serves on the Board of Directors of the American Red Cross of Cape May County and of thg New Jersey Travel and Resort Association. He resides in Lower Township with his wife. SUDAK • Has been on the Board since 1973 and is currently o member of the Nominating Committee and the Long Range 'Planning Committee, as well os. chairman of the Election Committee. In the post, he has served on the Building and Grounds Committee. Mr. Sudak has owned and operated the John C. Sudpk Funeral Home in Cape May City for IS years. He served as Cope May County's coroner for nine years and is a member of the New Jersey and National Funeral Directors Association. Mr. Sudak is a member and post president of the Cape May City Rotary Club. He is a member of the Horry Snyder American Legion Post 193 Cape May and the Peterson - Little Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 386 Cape May. He is also a fourth degree member of the Monsignor Moroney Knights of Columbus Assembly. Mr. Sudak has been on active member of the Cope May City Volunteer Fire Company for the post 29 years. Mr. Sudak and his wife. Margaret, ore residents of Cape May. Merrill Thomas MERRILL THOMAS Joined the BTMH Board in 1977. He has served as a member of the Finance Committee throughout his tenure and given time to various ad hoc committees. In April of 1963. he traveled tdArlington. Virginia, to participate in a special workshop for hospital trustees. Mr. Thomas is a retired postal clerk who served West Cape May os its tax collectortreasurer from 1974 to 1977. He has served as treasurer of the First Presbyierion Church of Cope May since 1978. Mr. Thomas is a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, the American Association of Retired Persons and the NAACP. He is a life member of the Marshall J. Tyree Scholarship Foundation. Mr. Thomas and his wife. Lillian, are residents of West Cape May. James Tracey JAMES TRACEY • Joined the Boord in 1962 ond serves on the Fin once Committee. Mr. Trocey has also hod experience as a boord member of the United Way in Atlantic County. His free time interests ore soiling and computers. Mr. Trocey was bom and raised in Sea Isle City ( ond is a descendant of one of Sea Isle Gty's oldest families, the Broca Family-

- Virginia Way VIRGINIA WAY - Joined the Boord in 1975. Mrs. Woy hos served as Finance Committee treasurer from 1976 to 1979. Currently she is assistant treasurer and secretory of record of the Foundation. She also serves on the Community Relations Committee. Mrs. Way is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College with a Bachelor of Arts degree. For many years, she was a homemaker and part-time bookkeeper and treasurer for her family-owned motel. Jolly Roger. Mrs. Way is also a member of the Wildwood Civic Club. Early American Gloss Club. Cape May County Historical Society and the National Society of the latter groyp os treasurer for seven years. Mrs. Way hav been an active member of the Greater Wildwood bfbnch of the BTMH Auxiliary ever since it was started. A native of Cape May County. Mrs.Woy has served as president of her high school doss since 1936. She and her husband. Palmer M. Way. Jr., Esq., are residents of Wildwood Crest. They have four children ond eight grandchildren. James Wheaton JAMES wyEATON - With post service/of two years on the Board. Mr. Wheaton was reappointed in November. 1962. ond elected in 1963. He served the hospitol as a member of the Finance Committee and has recently designed insurance specifications to meet hospital needs. He hos wide experience in finance ond insurance matters. This year he attended a seminar on hospital management -tn 'ATfmgtqn >y Virginio designed especially for boord members. Mr. Wheaton is a licensed insurance ond real estate broker. He is o director of Marine Notional Bonk ond o past president of Cape Insurance Center. Mr. Wheaton is also active in the community. He is o member of the American Legion ond an elder of the First Presbyterian Church of Wildwood. Mr. Wheaton served in the United Sto'*s Air Force for four years. MaryGftiner MARY GREINER - Serves on the Boord by virtue of her position os president of the BTMH Auxiliary, a post she assumed in Mgy of 1963. She served as vice president of the Auxiliary from 1972to 1963. Mrs. Greiner holds a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Purdue University. She was food production manogar for Stouffer Restaurant Corporation for 16 years. Mrs. Greiner's extensive volunteer experience includes 3500 hours as a volunteer at Roncocas Volley Hospital in Willingboro where she also served as a member of the Boord of Directors. Mrs. Greiner is also past president of the Woman s Club ond two chapters of the Philanthropic Educational Organization of Willingboro. In 1969. Mrs. Greiner was selected as

Willingboro's Woman of the Year. Since moving to Wildwood Crest in 1971. Mrs. Greiner has served as chairperson of various committees of the Wildwood Civic Club. He is currently assistant chief of fhb department of radiology. Besides these leadership positions, he hos contributed his effort to num^ous staff committees. Dr. Podolnick was raised and educated in Philadelphia. Pennsylvania. He earned o Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, then attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He served his residency at Jefferson University Hospitol in Philadelphia end was certified by the American Board of Radiology in 1965. During his years of medical education, he participated in the research ond development of on artificial kidney.
