Time Out (From Pag? 20) HENNY'S — Stone Harbor Style. If there’s one restaurant in Cape May county that is more famous than Henny’s in Stone Harbor, we haven’t he^rt of it. Henny’s has been around for a multitude of years and seems to grow more famous evepy year. Located at 97th & Third Ave., there was never a better time to enjoy the daily luncheon open salad bar, MondaySaturday 11:30 to 3 p.m., and Sunday 12 to 3. The best vegetables in the county are included along with all the extras that make for a great salad of your own imagination. Winter dining room hours are Friday and Saturday from 5 to 10, Sunday from 12 to 3. D CONTINENTAL — Pick your menu..Both American as well as Chinese food arc featured at the D. Continental Lounge & Restaurant, at Walnut & "New Jersey Ave., North Wildwood,

HUEY LEWIS and The News’ most recent platter, Sports (Chrysalis) continues in the fun, upbeat style of rock they’re rapidly becoming known for. Lewis' voice might not be the strongest around, but he has charm and sincerity, which many vocalists lack. The News provide crisp, forceful support, giving Lewis the perfect vehicle to get his message across'. , Heavy metal fans will welcome the latest from England's Iron Maiden. Piece Of Mind (Capitol) is another collection of bone crushing, metallic rock with vicious guitar breaks and arrogant singing. As a lea ,; ng t#ce in the newwave of British heavy metal, Iron Maiden have won over followers with their high energy approach and excellent musicianship. Unfortunately, like many heavy metal acts, the songwriting never lives up to the musical talent and much of the material here seems to be just an excuse

to show off how fast they can play their guitar leads. You Can't Stop Rock ’n'. Roll (Atlantic) by Twisted Sister is a prime example of heavy metal at its worst. The songwriting is insipid. ^ the performance lacks 'sincerity, and their talent as musicians is questionable. Apparently, Twisted Sister has built its following through a wild stage act, but on vinyl the songs just don’t hold up. Despite their lack of success in the States, The Jam were probably the s best group to emerge from England in the past TO years. Their records compare well to those — Kinks, Who, Beatles, etc. — who inspired them and their 1 premature demise was unfortunate. Knowing all that makes the debut minialbum from former Jam frontman Paul Weller hard to accept. His new group. The Style Council, tries hard for a smooth soul sound, but the end result is pretty dire. Weller’s voice is in fine form, but the tunes are cliche-ridden

debut by The Style Council, yet Weller with all his talent should quickly bounce back. Let’s hope so.
