Cape Builders Set Meeting
Promoter Accused Of Frauds

Cape May, to be held 7:30 p.m. iomorrow at the Great Bay Country Club. Robert L. Kamell. president of the New Jersey Builders Association, state officers and the seqior staff of the-association will be in attendance.
COURT HOUSE - Mark Diederich, director of the Cape May County Office of Consumer Affairs, has filed charges alleging violations of the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act in Superior Court against Allan A Stevens Jr., a promoter of country and
western concerts who operated under the business name “Headliners”. Diederich chaims that Stevens sold over 200 advance sales tickets for concerts to -be held in the Wildwood Convention Hall and at Millville High School, then cancelled
those shows and failed to issue refunds to ticket
purchasers.
The civil action seeks a court order that Stevens make restitution to over 60 consumers, be assessed fines for violations of the Consumer Fraud Act and pay all court, legal and investigative costs.
Stevens, having moved from the state, was served with the summons in
Toano, Va. J
Any consumer who has lost mpney to Stevens and has not yet contacted Diederich should do so immediately at 465-7111, ex-
