Middle held a 40-18 halftime advantage in the contest against St. Joe.*’ At the beginning of the season, Wildwood High looked like the team to.beat in the CAL II. If you were going to fix this week’s Super Bowl,
Id vou p . quarterback 0 The Coach? No, the referee. Think. about it. Who keeps an eye oh those guys anyway? They did d-ecide Washington would win against San Francisco. Without the one bad call at the end, The *9ers might be playing the Raiders this Sunday. The .U.S.F.L. is. a big joke. The Mike Rozier bit takes the cake. He denied he signed with Pittsburgh because be forgot about the time difference * between the U^. and Japan. And if .Walter Payton decided be will go the Chicago Sting. He will get a raise from $600,000 to $2 million. Will he be three times the player next year?

CAPE MAY - It’s not often that a team loses three out of four games and climbs from third to second place. However, the Potter foanaged to do just that, thanks to a. four-game •swifep by the Whipporwill Spikers ov€r. Library III in Men's Power Volleyball action recently. The Potter dropped those three games to the league- . leading Lighting Dimensions Killerwatts, who continue to play the consistent brand of volleyball that has since become their, trademark. Outstanding performances were turned in by the Killerwatts’ Roy Hartle, Rich Ferrante and John Wilsey throughout the match. Game one saw Hartle and Wilsey take full advantage of the crisp setting of Ferrante as they went on to post an easy 15-4 victory. However, the Potter came back strong in the second game due largely to the spiking of Stu Cohen, Scott Hiller, and Bud Bowman. They evened the match at one game apiece with a hard fought- fS-12 win. Lighting Dimensions went on to win the final two games by 15-13 and 15-9
scares.
