Bishop James L. Schad, pastor of Stella Maris, was the celebrant at a funeral mass Friday. Rev. Donald D. Vektto, director of the permanent diaconate program, was the homilist. Burial was Saturday at .West Conshobocken, Pa. As a member of the diaconate here, Crane served at Maris Stella and At St. Casimir, Woodbine. He also visited county nursing homes, the county prison,' and Burdet/e Tomlin Memorial Hospital. Crane is survived by his wife, Joan Covert Crane, a daughter, Margaret Anne, a son-in-law, and fjve grandchildren.
