CAPE MAY - An expanded array of tours of the city’s Victorian architecture will be offered Presidents’ Day weekend, Feb. 18 and 19, by the MidAtlantic Center for the Arts (MAO'. Combination tours will be offered throughout the morning and afternoon of both Saturday and Sunday, compared to the .normal winter schedule of Saturday tours at 1:30 and 2:30 p m. only. The walking tour scheduled for 10 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, departs from the information booth on the, Washington Street Mall, at Ocean Street. Lasting about IVfe hours, it offers visitors a more indepth introduction to Cape May’s history as the nation’s oldest seashore resort and its Victorian architecture. Renovated Hall to Be Ball Site AVALON — The recreation department will hold the grand opening of the newly renovated Community Hall and its annual Sweetheart Ball Saturday, Feb. 11. * The occasion will include a ribbon cutting, a feu words o( welcome to those using the hall and a chance to sec all the work that has been done to improve the hall The Sweetheart Ball will run 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. and will feature the Hal Davis Orchestra for listening and dancing The ball is open to the public, but borough residents may phone in reservations to insure themselves seating since these socials have become so popular.
