‘Grand’ Day At Academy

ERMA — South Jersey Christian Academy held its third annual "Grandparents Day” Jan. 26. Grandparents of,students were invited lo visit the classes of their grandchildren after they were welcomed and attended the

all-school chape).

After the morning classroom visits, grandparents were served a buffet lunch provided by the children's parents. Entertainment was* provided by the South Jersey Christian Academy Choir. A lecture entitled "The Importance of Grandparenting in the Family” was presented by Pastor Paul VanderLoo of the Tabernacle Methodist

Church.

Awards were given to those grandparents who traveled the farthest and who had the most grandchildren, along with other awards. Certificates of attendaoce were also Presented to each of the grandparents. Classrooms were specially decorated and students' school projects were set on display for viewing. Rummage Sale VILLAS — A rummage sale will be held at the St. Barnabas Episcopal Church Parish House, Bates Avenue, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday. Friday and Saturday, Feb. 16-18.
