COURT HOUSE - The County Library will ha*/e its Second Annnal “Medieval Fair" Saturday. Feb. 11 noon to 4 p.m. Hie local Society for Creative Anachronism will stage the demonstration for all those who yearn foF the chivalrous days of yore. Sword fighting and the making andor wearing of armor, helmets-, chain mail, swords and shields along with-safety guidelines will be explained. Fencing as done during the Medieval and Cavalier periods will be demonstrated. Fencing with two weapons, chain gauntlets, buckler and dag-

ger are all variations of Medieval fencing. ^ Maybe more important to recreating the ambieance of the middle ages are the guilds, which consist o f members learning proficiency in. costuming, weaving, embroidery, calligraphy, brewing, cooking, heraldry, chivalry singing and dance The society is for all ages The local group is called ‘The Shire of Barren Sands”, which is Next week's menu of meals served by the Cape May County Nutritional Project for the Elderly

AU-county Band Sets Concert

WILDWOOD - The allcounty high school band concert will be held 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, in the Wildwood High School auditorium. The band includes outstanding instrumental students from Lower Cape May Regional. Middle Township, Oceana-City .and Wildwood High Schbols. Hie program will include “Fantasy for Band" by Frank Erickson; The Holdst Suite in E-flat for Military Band, and a medley from "Evita”. The all-county jazz ensemble also will perform.
