COURT HOUSE - In observance of Black History Month, Cape H«mar. Resources Inc. will h*ve a presentation of the Smithsonian Institution /Traveling Exhibition Service (SITES) exhibit Tuesday, Feb. 14-March 7 at the county library. The exhibit, "Black Women: Achievements Against the Qdds”, features portraits of over 100 Mack women ranging from a slave poetess born in 1746 to a tennis player bora in 1967. It includes women active in education, civil rights, religion, sports, labor, journalism, dance, theater, arts, government, the military, law, n>usic, literature, medicine, and business.

IN ADDITION, the library will present two Sidney Poitier films: “A Raisin in the Sun” Feb. 17, and "Lilies of the Field” Feb. £4. The Friday films will be shown 7 p.m. in the downstairs meeting room. Dancers at Convention

COLD SPRING - Three tecchers from the Joanne Reagan Dance Studio here recently attended the “Tremaine Dance Convention” in New York City. The sessions featured classes in technique, choreography, and injury prevention, plus an opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences with celebrity dancers and choreographers. Attending from the local school were ; Stina Heminway, Sandra Boyt, and Joanne Reagan.
