GOP Seeking 'Candidates

COURT HOUSE - Anyone interested in being p Republican candidate for s federal, state or county office iti this year’s election is asked to contact Philip Matalucci, the Cape May county Republican chairman. The offices of United States senator. United States congressman, county freeholder and sheriff come up for election this vear. Any person interested in being a Republican candidate should ■notify the county chairman by letter. The letter should be in the chairman's hand byFeb. 15. A special candidates' night will be held sometime in March when each candidate will have a chance to speak before the county committeemen and women. All letters may be sent to °hilip Matalucci. Boro Sets Beach Fees

AVALON - The broough council has passed resolutions designating permit^ fees for tlje Avalon Sport Fishing Center, the • Bay Park Marina and for catamarans. These per--mits will go on sale with the borough clerk as of March l on a first come first served basis. Beach tags will alsogd or sale at a $1 increase over last year, bringing the preseason price of seasonal to $5 before June 1 and $7 thereafter. Those who are interested in obtainihg permits,

licenses, tags and so forth should contact the Borough Hall during regular office hours or in writing. A certificate of Insurance must accompany the applications for all boats and catamarans. Any owner or operator of any catamaran shall display on the\-ight hand front hull of Abe vessel the official decal lipense issued by the borough clerk.
