Catholic Schools Tribute WILDWOOD - St. Ann’s Regional School celebrated Catholic Schools Week, Jan. 30 through Feb. 3. The theme for CSW this year was “A Beacon of Hope”. The lower grades prepared posters on this theme. The older students read explanations of the theme over the public address system. The highlight of the week was a musical called "I Love School”.. The fourth grade students presented the play to the school Jan. 31. The play was directed by Sister Albertine, and included solos by Brian UeU and Catherine Gallagher. The children also performed a tap dance. The play was enjoyed by faculty, students, and parents. Friday, Feb. 3, the CYO presented a pep rally to the student body. The new school song was presented by the cheerleaders. First Baptist Services Set. COURT HOUSE - The First Baptist Church, 101S. Main St., holds worship service 9:30 a m. Sunday. A nursery is available. Sunday School classes for all ages are 10:45 a.m. Worship services are also held 7 p.m. Sunday. Women’s Exercise Class is 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, and Prayer meeting is 7 p.m. Wednesday. Bible study is 8 Friday at the parsonage. The pastor is Rev. Jerry Heslinga, 465-4606. Centennial SEA ISLE CITY - The centennial year* of St. Joseph's parish was celebrated with a kickoff cocktail patty last Sunday, with friends joining present and former members of the parish. Other religfous and social events are planned to mark the founding of St. Joseph’s in 1884. mmmmmmmmmh

‘Sacrificing Self Theme

GREEN CREEK - The sermon theme at the ll a.m. Sunday worship service of the Green Creek Community Church will.be ‘Sacrificing S^” This is the seventh sennon in the winter sermon series by Foster Joseph Muggleworth entitled ‘‘The Need for Spiritual Maturity.” A hymn sing will be conducted at 7 p.m., featuring special music by Dr. and Mrs. Eisenhower, also a sound-color slide presentation on the land of Lebanon, modern and ancient, as it -was before the current wartora conditions. Light refreshments will be served in Warner Hall following the program. The next Men’s Prayer Breakfast will be 7 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, 7:00 a.m. -Prayer meeting is on the first and third Wednesdays of each month. For further information call 886-6144.
