CAPE MAY - This March and April, combination trolley/Physick Estate tours and walking tours will be weekend features in this Victorian city. Sponsored by the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts (MAC), these tours bring alive the fabulous history and gingerbread architecture of the nation’s oldest

seaside resort.

UPON COMPLETING the trolley tour, visitors will be guidep through the Physick Mansion itself. A stick-stvle masterpiece designed by noted architect Frank Furness and completed in 1881, the Ffiysick House has been restored as a Victorian house museum. Its interior contains outstanding examples of Eastlake-style furnishings and fixtures, many of which were original family pieces designed by Furness himself. Ending the combination tour, visitors will be served hot cider and goodies in the Physick House kitchen. Walking tours depart (weather permitting) from the Information Booth on the Washington Street Mall, at Ocean Street and last about one-and-a-half hours. The spring tours will begin Saturday, March 3, and continue through Easter Sunday, April 22. For details and times of the tours, call 884-5404 Home Names New ‘Queen’ COURT HOUSE - Chosen queen at a recent election at the South Cape Nursing Home was Mrs. Grace May. She was crowned, dressed in a royal robe, and received a bouquet. Runner-up was Marty Oakes, who received a pin. Outgoing queen was Mrs. Rose Johnson. The election was under Mrs. Arlene Engle, activities director. Refreshments were enjoyed by all.
