CAPE MAY - Keltic’s John DeCamillo continued his assault on the Junior Street Hockey League as he fired in four goals to lead Keltic News to an easy 5-1 victory over C-View. DeCamillo scored two goals in the first period and teammate Matt Notch scored one goal as Kellie’s took a commanding 3-0 lead.

CAPE MAY - In the first match of the first round of the Women’s Volleyball League Playoffs, the second-place Needlers took on the fifthplace Havin' Fun. In game one, the Needlers never gave Havin' Fun a change and won easily, 15-2, behind the excellent serving of Michelle Bird. In the second game, ^ Havin’ Fun kept -the Needlers on the defensive with the fine, all-around play of Linda Thomas and Bobby Merkel as it took a comfortable 11-6 lead. The Needlers finally showed why they are considered among the league powers as they pulled themselves together and tied the game up at 12-12. Havih' Fun then regained service and surged ahead to game point-at 14-12, but lost service on a wild serve by Tami Thomas. The Needlers’ Marion Lamach, then sizzled in four points on serve to wrap things up for her team with 16-14 come-from-behind victory.
