SJI Record On Income FOLSOM - William F, Ryan, president and chief executive officer of South Jersey Industries, Inc. (SJI), a holding company with investments in natural gas distribution and natural resources development, reported a record consolidated fiet income of $2.1 million for January 1984, an increase of 123 percent compared to the same period in 1983. Ryan attributed the record earnings to the improved operations of SJI’s subsidiaries. South Jersey Gas Co. and Energy & Minerals. Inc.
HANGING UP — Allaa T. Burch Jr., of Ocean City, associate manager for New Jersey Bell Telephone Co. in Atlantic City, has retired after 38 years' service with the company.

SJI Increases Dividend FOLSOM-The board of directors of South Jersey Industries, Inc. (South Jersey Industries) declared an increased quarterly dividend of 61 cents per share on the 2,818,873 shares outstanding of common stock of the company for the first quarter of 1984, payable March 30 to shareholders of record at, the close of business on March 9.
