WILDWOOD - The promotion of three executives of the Union Trust Co! has been announced by Charles J. Sansone, president and chief executive officer. They are: John M. Light Jr., comptroller and vice president; John P. Watson, assistant treasurer and operations officer; Kurt A. Schulze Jr., assistant treasurer. Light was born in Spr ingfield. Pa., and attended Penn State University. Light enlisted in the Naval Air Force and attained the rank of lieutenant commander. After the service, he spent 11 years with a Philadelphia insurance firm in sales management. He has been with Union Trust Co. for 11 years and. prior to his recent promotion, was auditor and operational officer. He and his wife, Lois, reside in Sea Isle City. Watson graduated from Wildwood High School and has attended the American Institute of Banking. His previous position was operations and computer manager. Watson has been with Union Trust Co. for 10 years and lives in Villas with his wife, Bettyann. Schulze, who resides in Ocean City with his wife, Kathaleen, and daughter, Kristyn, graduated from
Skipper’s License Course
CAPE MAY — A 40-hour captain's license preparation course for local boatowners and operators who want to carry passengers for hire will be held by Houston Marine Training Services here March 12-22. The course, which will prepare individuals for the U.S. Coast Guard motorboat operator, inland operator or ocean.operator license exams, will include material on rules of the road, navigation, seamanship and safety regulations. Classes will be held for nine nights at PetersonLitUe Post, V.F.W., 419 Congress St. CLASSES WILL be taught by Charles Juechter of Houston Marine Training Services, a division of Houston Marine Consultants, Inc., of New Orleans. Juechter is a former chief of staff of the New Orleans Coast Guard and has over 30 years active duty with the U.S. Coast Guard. For more information, contact Jeannette Keller at 1-808-535-8803. The Coast Guard will be conducting licensing exams in the area March 22 provided there are 10 qualified students. Individuals wishing to take the captain's exams should contact Keller to reserve space by March 9. Interested persons can obtain license applications from either the New York Coast Guard Office or Houston Marine.

Wins Award CAPE MAY — David Scott Lindsay, greatgrandson of Mrs. Alice Brown of Victorian Towers, has been named a national award winner in mathematics by the United States Achievement Academy. Lindsay, the son of William and Lynn Lindsay, is a student at Carson Long Military Academy.
Gas Center For County FOLSOM — Smith Jersey Gas Company (South Jersey Gas) has purchased a building at 10th Street and Asbury Avenue, Ocean City, to establish an Energy Saver Center. The announcement was made by William F. Ryan, president of South Jersey Gas. This center, one erf four located throughout the seven-county service territory of South Jersey Gas, is scheduled to open on or about May 1. The Ocean City Energy Saver Center will serve as a source of conservation information for customers of South Jersey Gas and offer a complete line of the latest energy saving devices, conservation materials, and high efficiency natural gas appliances.

The election was held during the business meeting at the American Osteopathic Association's 88th Annual Convention and Scientific Seminar. Dr. Speer attended the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
degree in 1971. A certified general—family practioner. Dr Speer is also a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Rheumatology and devotes 50 per cent of practice time to the specialty of arthritis and musculoskeletal diseases. He maintains staff priviledges at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, where he is chief of the Department of Rheumatology, and has offices in Stone Harbor, N J.
