Recital Set By Pianist OCEAN CITY - Praised as “brilliant and incisive” by the London Times, pianist Christ of Amtmann will present a recital of works by Schubert, Schumann, and Chopin 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 8, at St. Peter’s Methodist Church. Amtmann will also play in Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Pennsylvania. Illinois, and Wisconsin during his current tour. He last performed in Ocean City in 1979 under the auspices of the Friends of Music. Hoedown RIO\ GRANDE - The Middle Township and Rio Grande Rescue Squads are teaming up to hold a country music dance 8 p.m - l a m. March 31 at the Rio Grande Fire Hall. Music will be by Situation.
