Boro Cops Get Around AVALON - The borough police department was on the move in January, with police vehicles traveling over 14.000 miles, according*to the report of Chief Joseph E Foley. Police handled incidents or rendered services totaling 3j>10 incidents The department conducted 1,454 residential checks. 1,588 business checks and 130 motor vehicles checks anc 1 handled 294 minor incidents.
