League Posts Exhibit Winners
CAPE MAY-Thecoun-ty Art League's Annual Young Peoples' Exhibit, on display now in the Carriage House, 1050 Washington St., had its opening reception Saturday. The exhibit showcases the talents of area students in grades seven through twelve. Parents, teachers and friends were on hand to hear the results of the judging that took place last Wednesday Judges for the exhibitwere Harry Labov, Middle Township elementary art teacher; John Haynie from Lower Township Consolidated School, and Walt Mormello of Glenwood Avenue School, Wildwood. First, second, third and honoraMe mention ribbons were aw-arded to each grade level. First place artists also received a year’s membership to the art league. The Best of Show Winner received a ribbon, an Art League Membership and The Anne Bolen Prize for Young Artists, $25. The winners were: Srvmlfe Grade First, Scott Stewart.
