New Head For Guard Company

COURT HOUSE - U. Col. Robert. A. Preston, commander of the 154th Supply and Service Battalion, has assigned First Lieutenant Robert D. Springer as commander, 144 Supply Co., New Jersey Army National Guard, Ha mm onion. Lieut. Springer is a graduate of the Cape May County Vocational Technical School. He received his commission from the United States Army Officer Candidate School at Forty Benning, Ga. He has two children, Eric and Paige. Lieut. Springer resides in Goshen with his wife Lorraine. Lieut. Springer is employed with the Carpenters Union, Local 1744 in Wildwood, and is a member of the Goshen Volunteer Fire Department. Lieut. Springer received the unit colors from Capt. William Collier, the former commander, during a change of command ceremony in January.
