More Aid For School Transport

OCEAN CITY - Dedication of the $3.5 million addition to the Ocean City High School will take place 11 a.m. Saturday, March 31. The school is at Fifth Street and Atlantic Avenue. Following the dedication, a tour will be given of all the new facilities, which include new administrative, guidance and nurse s offices, seven new science rooms, two new art rooms, one graphic arts room, a weight room, gym area, locker room, special education rooms, driver education room, a new instructional media center (library), and classroom space. The board of education has sent out invitations to attend the ceremonies. Donald W. Johnson is president and Jeanne L. Gorman vice president of the board. A Teamwalk Competition

WILDWOOD -A challenge Teamwalk pitting members of the New Jersey National Guard against a team from the local Coast Guard will be held starting 9 a.m. Sunday, April 29, on the Boardwalk at Schellenger Avenue and winding through the streets of the city. The challenge was issued by Maj. Fred Channels of the Guard to Lieutenant Kurt Gunn of the Coast Guard at a Teamwalk kickoff luncheon for the 1984 March of Dimes. The teams will compete to win the most money for the charity.

i CAPE MAY — February was a good month for the Cape May-Lewes Ferry, as both vehicular and passenger traffic increased over February, 1983. The ferry carried 1,711 vehicles and 4,926 passengers more than the corresponding period, for an increase of 28.7 percent for vehicles and 37 percent for passengers. Traffic also was up on the Delaware Memorial Bridge, it was reported to the Delaware River and Bay Authority, with 210,741 more vehicles using the crossing than in February, 1983.
