Center Dispensary Boasts Experience CAPE MAY — Over 30/years of experience on the job are wrapped up in the nursing staff at the dispensary of the Coast Guard Training\€enter in the persons of Mrs. Rose Gray and Mrs. KathryndfacCracken. Mrs. Gray, a resident of Bay Shore West, has worked at the Training Center for more than 16 years. "I love my • work here. The work is hard and often fast, but I like the clinic type atmosphere,” commented Mrs. Gray. As compared to hospital work, says Mrs. McCracken, who lives in Wildwood Crest, once she became familiar with the system she loved working at the dispensary. "W r e have a great deal more responsibility and at times it's a lot more work, but because of that we receive much more respect from the doctors here.” During their lengthy tenure a : the recruit center, the nurses have witnessed many changes. “I guess the biggest change for us has been the women m recruit training,” says Mrs. Gray. “Since they began sending women through here I have held classes for female recruits on various subjects. I like doing it because many times these girls need somebody they can talk to — I guess I'm a grandmother future to some of the girls " ( Taylor Gets Heno Award
