The hiring of a “consummate professional" with no political ties to the county as first township manager under the new form of government in Lower Township is advocated by the Common Sense ticket in the election May 8. A competing slate, the New Candidates for New Government,” has called for a fiscal audit to determine the financial status of the township. The ticket made the demand as part of its “Agenda for the Future.” State Grant i T V eatherization Assistance ’"Togram grant in the .• mount of $355,000 has been ^warded to Atlantic Human Resources, Inc. by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, according to Governor Thomas H. Kean The grant will enable Atlantic Human Resources. Inc. to continue to weatherize homes in Atlantic and Cape May Counties under the ’'Veatherization Assistance Program. The program's purpose is to aid those least able to meet high energy costs and consene needed energy.

The “New Candida tes" slate, selected with local GOP organization backing, is headed by Samuel Stubbs as mayoral candidate, and includes council candidates Robert Bonner, Robert Conroy, Debi de la Cretaz, and Jack Cummings. « Also in the running is the Non-Partisan Change Team (NCT), headed by former Mayor Thomas Clydesdale, .which includes council candidates Richard Veit, John Wade, David F. Brand, Jr. and GOP committeewomen Phyllis Genovese.

When questionnaires are returned. Glassboro will compile the results in its computer. Questionhaires were -mailed to Wildwood graduates of the classes of :i979. 1980. 1981. f982 and 1 1983. It is planned to have all completed questionnaires returned to Glassboro by April 13. Graduates who have not received a questionnaire are asked to contact Wayne C.
