CAPE MAY - Percy Farmer has been named as •‘member of the month" by Peterson-Little Post 38^, Veterans of Foreign Wars Farmer, a retired construction worker, has lived in West Cape May the last eight years. A native of Raleigh. N.C.. he served with the U.S. Army in Italy and Germany in World War H. Farmer has been a member of the post eight years. He is the -sergeant-at-arms and ^ representative of the 17th District of the VFW for Boy Scouting. He is assistant scoutmaster for Cape May Troop 84. and scout of the year for Baysea District.

Osteopaths ’ Convention

ATLANTIC CITY - Dr. John J. Napoleon of Court House, president of the .Cape May Osteopathic Society, will lead a delegation of area physicians attending the 83rd annual convention of the New Jersey Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons, tomorrow — Sunday at Bally’s Park Place Hotel here. The delegates will join members of 13 other state association component societies as well as osteopathic physicians 'ram New York State at the meetings, which are expected to attract some 1,500 persons

Honor Set For Alumna COURT HOUSE — A local resident, Virginu Boardman. is one of si> distinguished graduates o: Rutgers University’s Douglass College who wil be inducted into the Douglasses Society at the college’s annual Founders Day luncheon Wednesday. April 11. Dr. Boardman began her career as a biological chemist for E.I. EuPonl and then served as a public health nurse for the Presbyterian Church. In that capacity she endeared herself as a “medicine lady" to more than 90C men, women and children on a Navaho reservation in Arizona. In 1966 she joined Case Western Reserve University as an assistant professor in the School of Nursing. She was later appointed associate professor and continued in that capacity until her retirement in 1$63.
